2010 got off to an early start with Peter being on a panel on the english speaking Beijing Radio for an hour discussing the non-news stories of the last year. Beijing Radio followed up two weeks later with an interview on the international debate on paying for newspapers online.
The announcement by the ABC of developing online sites around Australia created concern with competitors particularly in regional markets. Peter was interviewed ironically by ABC Online and regional ABC stations plus Steve Leibman on 2UE,
Again the ABC created controversy announcing a 24 Hour news service which led to interviews with Peter on ABC radio.
Peter finished up January speaking on ABC Grandstand about the experiments being conducted in the UK on 3D TV coverage of soccer into pubs.
February started with interviews on the ABC and the SMH on the disappointing audiences for One Day Internationals and the more popular Twenty20 cricket with crowds and on television.
